FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything a boutique usually wants to know. Can’t see your question? Email hello@bridetry.com and we’ll answer personally.

What is BrideTry?
BrideTry is white-label virtual try-on and booking software for bridal boutiques. A bride sees herself in one of your gowns on your own branded website, then books her appointment while she is still in love with the dress.
Which website platforms does it work with?
Any website, from a single line of code, with ready-made presets for Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace and Wix.
How long does it take to go live?
Usually a day or two. We set it up from your own gowns, so you are not managing a project.
Do I need to be technical?
No. It is one line of code and we handle the setup for you.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at founding-partner rates, billed monthly, cancel any time. An annual option is there if you prefer it. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
Is there a contract, and can I cancel?
Pay monthly and cancel any time. An annual option is available if you prefer, and founding partners keep their rate for life.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, and a proper one: your first 30 days are on us, on your own website with your own gowns, and we count every appointment it books. If the numbers convince you, you carry on at founding pricing. If they don't, it comes off your site and you owe nothing.
What about my designer and stockist agreements?
Your gown imagery stays on your own website, under your own branding. It is never pooled with other boutiques, resold, or used to promote anyone else. Stockist terms differ label by label, so before launch we go through yours with you and only include gowns you're comfortable showing.
Will a bride look like herself?
That is the rule the whole product is built around: BrideTry never slims, reshapes or alters a bride's body, ever. The try-on shows her, as she is, in the gown. It is a way to imagine the style, not a fitting, and we say that clearly to every bride.
Will brides still come in, or just try on at home?
The try-on is a preview, not the real thing, and brides know it. Nothing replaces stepping out of the fitting room in front of the people she loves, and that moment only happens in your boutique. BrideTry's whole job is to end at your booking page, and your dashboard shows the appointments it creates, so you can judge it on exactly that.
Will it match my brand?
Yes. BrideTry is fully white-label: your logo, your fonts and your colours, embedded on your own site. Brides never leave your world.
How accurate is the try-on?
It is a visualisation to help a bride imagine a style on herself. It is tuned for bridal so lace, beading and silhouette stay true, and it never slims or reshapes her, but it is not an exact likeness of the dress or a fitting. Nothing replaces seeing the gown in store.
Does it replace my booking system?
No. It hands every excited bride straight into your existing appointment or enquiry flow. There is no new system to learn and nothing to migrate.
What happens to a bride's photo?
Her photo is not kept on our servers, it is used only to create her try-on, consent is built in, and the whole flow is built to UK GDPR. The full detail is in our privacy notice.
How fast does a bride see her try-on?
In under half a minute, with no app to install and no account to create.
