Terms of service

These terms govern how bridal boutiques use BrideTry. If anything here matters to your decision, email hello@bridetry.com and we’ll talk it through.

Who we are

BrideTry is a product of Readiscover Ltd, registered in England & Wales (registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “BrideTry” mean Readiscover Ltd, and “you” means the boutique using the service.

These terms

By using BrideTry, or by asking us to set up a try-on for your boutique, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

The service

BrideTry provides virtual try-on and booking software that you embed on your own website. A bride can preview herself in your gowns and is then directed into your own appointment or enquiry flow. Features available depend on your plan, as set out on the pricing page. We may improve or change features over time.

The try-on is a visualisation

The try-on is a computer-generated visualisation to help a bride imagine a style. It is not an exact likeness of the gown and is not a fitting or a measurement, as explained in our privacy notice. You agree not to present it to brides as a guarantee of the finished gown.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the gown information and images you give us or publish, for keeping any account credentials secure, and for your own dealings with brides (including your appointment booking, enquiries and your own privacy notice to them). You agree to use BrideTry lawfully and not to misuse it. Misuse of a try-on image can be reported at /report.

Fees, billing and cancellation

Fees are as shown on the pricing page for your plan. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel at any time, with an optional annual plan available. Founding partners keep their agreed founding rate for the life of their subscription. Any one-time setup fee is as stated at sign-up. Fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Data protection

For the virtual try-on itself, BrideTry decides how a bride’s photo is handled and is the data controller for that processing, as described in our privacy notice. You remain the controller for your own dealings with the bride, such as her appointment or enquiry. Where we process personal data on your instructions, a data processing arrangement is available on request. Each party will comply with UK data protection law.

Intellectual property and branding

You keep all rights in your brand, logo, gown images and content. BrideTry is white-label, so your brand is what brides see. We keep all rights in the BrideTry platform, software and underlying technology. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the service.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and to support you promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless we have separately agreed a service level with you in writing.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited [to be confirmed, e.g. to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months]. This clause must be reviewed and finalised by a solicitor.

Term and termination

These terms apply while you use BrideTry. You may cancel as set out above. We may suspend or end the service on reasonable notice, or immediately for serious or repeated breach or misuse.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will change the “last updated” date above when we do, and we will tell you about material changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
